raider (Thinkpad X41)
Summary
Oldest personal laptop I still own.
Notes
- I think I use to have some wedge batteries for this, but they died. IBM calls them 'Extended Life Battery'.
- My current battery might be dead.
- This is the only IBM branded ThinkPad I own, but the Windows Coa says 'Lenovo Singapore'.
- BIOS reports 2.5GB. Spec sheet says 1.5GB max. Windows detects 2GB fine.

Bought as a used machine. I think this was my first 'real' laptop. Came with 60GB hard drive, and 1GB RAM. I think the dock was included since it mentions DVD.
SSD Upgrade
I got a cheap KingSpec 16GB SSD. It is PATA, and fits the weird 1.8" form factor.
I probably upgraded the RAM to 2GB around this time too.
The original drive is still in my drive collection.
I put XP back on it. Mostly just an upgrade to give it a little pep.
