No battery mod

I used the G watch as a clock/notification thinger on my desk. Therefore it's always pluged in. After a battery failed on another always plugged in device, I noticed the back had a slight bow so I decided to remove its battery as well. However, the G watch won't boot without a battery. The screen just blinks a battery symbol repeatedly.

Since the battery is just a simple 2-terminal device I decided to stick a diode between the 5V pogo pin input and the positive battery terminal.

One nit about my approach: I thought I could get away with soldering the battery end. I felt this was necessary because the battery terminal isn't there to press down on the spring contact. In doing so I mostly immobilized the contact so it may be non-functional if I want to install a new battery.

Note that on the 5V end, the wire is not permanantly attached. It just passes through the spring contact and will be locked in place by the pin in the back cover.
